John Gutheil MD promoted to CEO

San Diego, CA, August 01, 2008 -- The Board of Directors of Proacta Inc, is pleased to announce that John Gutheil has been promoted to the position of CEO. As Chief Medical Officer and SVP, Clinical Affairs, John has played a central role in driving both the development of our lead compound, PR104, and in the development and direction of the company as a whole. We are delighted that John has accepted this new position, and look forward to him continuing to drive the development of PR104 as we move into Phase II trials, as well as providing the vision and leadership to establish Proacta as a leader in oncology drug development.
